Providing Kinesiology, Ergonomics and MSI Prevention for over 20 years!
Kinetic Life Solutions Ltd. has been serving employers and employees in Labrador since 2017, however the president, Kathy-Lynn Shaw, has been practicing kinesiology, ergonomics, musculoskeletal injury prevention, and occupational health for over 20 years! She is a Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist, a Registered Kinesiologist, a trainer in MSI Prevention, and provides customized compression therapy and bracing. She has worked in private health clinics, workers' compensation boards, and industry with a professional, reliable, and knowledgeable approach. Kinetic Life Solutions deeply values the health and safety of both workers and workplaces and takes great pride in providing our community with high quality proactive and preventative services.
OUR SERVICES
ERGONOMICS
Kinetic Life Solutions Ltd. has a Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist and has been a member of the Association of Canadian Ergonomists since 2004. They provide current information and recommendations in industrial ergonomics and office ergonomics as well as training in participatory ergonomics in the workplace. With over 20 years in the ergonomics and Kinesiology fields as well as practicing in both the public and private sectors, you will be well informed on providing a healthier and safer workplace.
MUSCULOSKELETAL INJURY PREVENTION
Keep yourself and your employees healthy! At Kinetic Life Solutions Ltd. we have a certified trainer in the Newfoundland and Labrador Musculoskeletal (MSI) Prevention Standard. Our friendly and experienced staff can provide many services in the prevention of musculoskeletal injuries (MSIs) including: educational services on manual handling tasks, back injury prevention, and stretching programs; and proper layout and design of work spaces to provide a healthy and safe environment.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT AND FUNCTIONAL ASSESMENTS
If you are looking for quality Pre-Employment Physical Fitness Testing or Functional Capacity Evaluations for injured workers, then Kinetic Life Solutions Ltd. is the place for you with our Registered Kinesiologist who is a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Kinesiology Association and the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance.
